Whether you’re brand-new to biking or you imported a “bakefiets” from the Netherlands, our ABCs have something fun for you and your family. We’ll have plenty of cargo bikes and bike seats, a Bike Rodeo youth bike safety workshop, bike decorating, and a show-and-tell with local “pedal parents” of children from infants to school age. Find more information on our ABCs event page and join our email list to make sure you don’t miss this festival of family biking!
We also want to share a quick shout-out to the bike advocates behind Kidical Mass DC who (together with the DDOT Safe Routes to School program and WABA) coined this event’s great name and offered a model for our event. Special thanks as well to our organizing partners including Village Parents, the Greater Homewood Community Corporation and parents at the Baltimore Montessori Public Charter and Margaret Brent Elementary/Middle School!
