We are excited to bring our ABCs of Family Biking program to the Abell Community Street Fair tomorrow afternoon, September 20, 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Please stop by the street fair to meet other biking parents and pick up our handy guide to biking with children of all ages. If you already bike with your kids, please stop by to volunteer for a few minutes and talk with other parents about why you bike.

Abell Children’s Parade

Come out early to join the Children’s Parade that opens the Abell Community Street Fair. The parade begins at the Abell Open Space (32nd Street between Abell & Guilford) by 11:30 am on Sunday for face painting and maybe some bicycle decorating. The group will leave the park at 11:45 a.m. and the parade itself will start at 12:00 noon from 30th & Abell.
This is a short parade (two blocks), but lots of fun. This year’s theme is children’s literature and many of the parade participants will be dressed up as their favorite characters from children’s literature and carrying signs they’ve painted about their favorite books.
